Hockey Canada is the national governing body for grassroots hockey in Canada. It collaborates with the 13 provincial branches, the Canadian Hockey League, and other associate member organizations to grow the sport across all levels. The organization oversees programs ranging from entry-level participation to high-performance teams and competitions, including world championships and the Olympic Winter Games, and acts as Canada's representative to the International Ice Hockey Federation. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Hockey Canada maintains an office presence in Ottawa and runs regional centres across Western Canada, Ontario, and Quebec. It is a large nationwide organization that coordinates community programs, regional development, and national teams. In April 2026 the organization announced leadership additions to Team Canada's management team, including Brad Treliving and Jason Spezza.
