USA Weightlifting serves as the United States' National Governing Body for Olympic weightlifting, headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is affiliated with the United States Olympic Committee and the International Weightlifting Federation. The organization is the only channel through which American weightlifters can qualify for Olympic Games and World Championships.
