ICPS, a subsidiary of HPS Group, was founded in 2008 as a joint venture between MCB Group and HPS Group. The company is now fully owned by the latter since 2021.

Unlike other service providers and third party processors, ICPS Ltd was a Member Bank Processing Centre. This approach provides state of the art technology in Switching and Card Management Systems, enabling banks to achieve economies of scale by outsourcing their card processing activities.
