About Integrated Micro-Chromatography Systems, Inc. At Integrated Micro-Chromatography Systems (IMCS), we strive to address the growing needs of clinical and research laboratories through advanced technologies that increase testing efficiency. IMCS products help to drive the future of precision medicine. We understand the importance of accuracy, which is why we are committed to delivering products that consistently provide fast, reliable results. Company History IMCS was founded in January 2013, by Andrew Lee, Qian Wang, and William Brewer, three Ph.D. scientists from the University of South Carolina. Its rapid success stemmed from the company's unique technology; the founder's experience running companies (DPX Technologies and A&Q NanoDesigns), and support from the city of Columbia, the University of South Carolina, and the local USC-Columbia incubator program. IMCS was a USC/COLA Technology Incubator company and the second tenant of USC IDEA labs. In October 2016, IMCS completed construction of its new state-of-the-art laboratory and administrative headquarters. The multi-million dollar capital investment by IMCS in infrastructure and equipment has enabled the biotechnology facility and operations center in the Midlands, South Carolina to increase production capabilities and to expand the development of future products. The added space has allowed IMCS to recruit talented scientists and staff, and bring additional cutting edge products to market. IMCS creates, manufactures, and distributes next-generation biotechnology products to clinical forensic toxicology, university research, US Federal Government agencies, and health science companies. Today IMCS products are used to perform millions of tests monthly and serve more than 400 clients across the globe.
