Located in Birmingham, AL, Jackson, Renfro & Associates, Inc. was established in 1977 and provides electrical engineering and design services for municipal, commercial, industrial and institutional facilities, holding professional registrations in more than 25 states.

The firm employs four electrical engineers plus support staff and produces engineering documents using the latest CAD & BIM software.  For many years we have initiated the integration of electrical load data, conduit and cable schedules, control and instrumentation SCADA schedules and other data electronically and automatically into the electrical construction documents.  This arrangement allows automatic error checking of many of the design parameters to include short circuit and voltage drop calculations to provide increasingly higher quality electrical construction documents.

One of the strengths of Jackson, Renfro & Associates is the breadth of project types in which we specialize.  From designing high-rise hotels to water treatment facilities, and large sports venues to manufacturing facilities, our collective experience spans a wide array of project types, enabling us to build on our past successes.

Today, we are adapting to the growing needs of our clients, providing specialized lighting, control, instrumentation and building technology design services in addition to the traditional lighting, power and grounding design.  Our goal is to meet the needs of our clients with the highest level of electrical engineering and design services for many years to come.
