KASIKORN Business-Technology Group (KBTG) is the technology arm of Kasikornbank (KBank) and operates in IT services and IT consulting in Thailand. Founded in 2016 as a spin-off to support digital transformation for KBank and the K-Group, it comprises eight subsidiaries, including K-Tech in China and KBTG Vietnam, and oversees more than 500 applications across its ecosystems. The group is based in Nonthaburi, Thailand, and functions as a regional technology hub coordinating its units to advance financial services. Its core customers are KBank and the K-Group, with responsibilities ranging from managing the bank's IT operations and core banking system to operating customer channels such as K PLUS, which has over 23 million users. In addition to product development, KBTG pursues research in AI, data, and related deep technologies, collaborates with institutions such as MIT Media Lab, and in 2026 announced plans to host the KBTG Techtopia conference.
