Dennis Hagerty and Jeff Falgien opened their first piano store 37 years ago. Today the franchise has grown to four Southern California locations and in a recent poll Keyboard Concepts was recognized as “The Most Recommended Piano Stores in California.” It’s been an exciting journey and both Dennis and Jeff recognize that hard work, business savvy, great products, good locations, luck and some help along the way have brought them to the very top of their industry.

Among many giants in the piano retailing trade, Dennis especially acknowledges the late David Abell as a mentor and inspiration. “David Abell knew how to take care of his customers and developed a very loyal following. As Keyboard Concepts, we will continue David’s dedication to quality and fine service. He was a great piano retailer and we are proud to follow in his footsteps.” Keyboard Concepts acquired the Abell store in 1999 and retained the Abell name in honor of their friend.
