KIC began in 1985 with its first apartment complex near Humboldt State University. Our goal was to fulfill the need of HSU students by providing affordable, energy efficient, safe, clean, livable rental properties in Arcata. We continued to build our ‘energy efficient’ student apartments and today own and manage close to 200 rental units in Arcata. We also offer apartments, senior housing, duplexes and homes in Eureka and Fields Landing. Each property has been built or renovated and are managed with our philosophy; great properties, great tenants!

Through the years we have acquired office, commercial and industrial rental properties in Humboldt County as well. Some were newly constructed, others were historical renovations all to KIC’s high standards.
