The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is a United States–based nonprofit organization founded in 1929 and headquartered in Washington, DC. Its mission is to advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health, and civil rights of Hispanic people in the United States. The organization functions as a national advocacy and service network focused on expanding opportunities and protections for Latino communities. LULAC operates through programs and affiliated entities, including the LULAC National Educational Service Centers, Inc., to support educational and community initiatives across the country.
