Life Management Resources Is an Outpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation program serving adults in the Collin County, Denton County, and North Dallas area. Through our Online Treatment programs, we reach those in need across the State of Texas. Life Management Resources is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and is Nationally Accredited by the Joint Hospital Accreditation Commission.

LMR was founded in 1999 by Dr. Fred J. Hansen, Ph.D., to serve the metro area that was unserved following the closure of Charter Psychiatric Hospital.  Since 1999 LMR has served over 18,000 patients and has one of the highest recovery rates in the country.  

In 2007, LMR became Nationally Accredited by the Joint Hospital Accreditation Commission (Joint Commission) making it one of only 3 free-standing, non-hospital based treatment programs in America to receive such an honor.  

The program is in-network with almost all Managed Care Insurance Companies.
