It’s been 15 years in the making. In a small Connecticut town, we opened a spa with the goal of providing our clients with anti-aging treatments that successfully removed fine lines and unsightly sun damage. Over time, many of the women that we built relationships with have developed skin cancer, namely melanoma. Seeing our friends and family go through the surgery, treatment and terror that accompanies skin cancer was a watershed moment for us. We knew we needed to do more than just erase the signs of premature aging; we needed to give women a reminder when they were putting themselves at risk.
Our mission is one of prevention, and it is very true to our hearts. Our UV Detection Jewelry, features bracelets and necklaces outfitted with a SolarActive crystal that change color when the wearer is exposed to UV rays.  Two bracelets in this collection have been named after survivors, and we will continue this tradition in each collection. We hope their stories of success will help you to be aware of your own skin, identify any changes for an early diagnosis and prevent future damage that can lead to skin cancer and premature aging.
In a time that injections, surgery, peels and fancy treatments “undo” what could have been prevented, we hope that our collection will help start a conversation and prevent the damage before it begins
