Mangico started a project of developing a Mango liquor that has a social wealth component as part of their business model, we believe that thought the development of the full ecosystem and sharing the wealth through the value chain we can help growers in Mexico and offer a solution to the mangoes that won't reach the market. Mangico is using the skills of their founders and advise of their network to help Entrepreneurs, Small Companies investors and Startups develop companies and revenue streams that maximize their employees and assets potential. Through the revision and development of business models, new target markets and a solid strategy that helps them reach is new clients and deliver more value for the customer and more wealth for the companies and their ecosystem. Mangico Liqour our fist project is a premium artisnal liqueur made from mangoes, crafted according to a secret family recipe that dates back more than 50 years to pre-revolutionary Cuba. Mangico strives to improve the mango market in Mariana and Alonso’s home country of Mexico, by creating a demand for perfectly good mangoes that are currently rejected from going to the market because of aesthetic blemishes or a shortened shelf life. By pairing their passion for stimulating their local economy with a century of family history, Alonso and Mariana have created a great liqueur and new opportunities for their hometown. Mangico is the taste of Latin America. Mangico was part of the Summer Venture Program at Babson college, a 10 week accelerator program.
