We provide outsourced Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services for healthcare providers such as health systems, hospitals, clinics, physician groups, labs, and clinics.  Despite significant advances in technology, RCM in the United States is unique and extremely complex.  
Although there has been a push for insurance payments to be made electronically, there are still many that arrive in the form of paper Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) combined with a traditional paper check. The Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) do arrive electronically and the funds are deposited to the provider’s bank, but they still must be managed and combined with other payment types to create a file that can be posted into the providers practice management software.   MediStreams is now helping the industry embrace new payment technologies that leverage existing credit pipes while managing protected healthcare information.
MediStreams’ process automates the flow of healthcare payments by creating electronic files customized specifically to post directly to the provider’s practice management system. MediStreams’ unique service delivery model accelerates the posting of remittances while eliminating errors associated with manual processing which significantly reduces provider overhead costs.  MediStreams’ fully HIPAA compliant platform also provides the means for payers to provide a fully reconciled payment to providers in compliance with Section 1104 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
