Founded in 2009 by artists Jeff Kurosaki and Tara Pelletier, Meow Meow Tweet is a vegan apothecary for all-natural, small-batch, low-waste personal care. Meow Meow Tweet was the first company to popularize the innovative zero-waste Deodorant Stick, packaged in 100% biodegradable paper, and compostable in both municipal and home composts. 

Meow Meow Tweet’s products are crafted like modern culinary dishes using the finest plant ingredients and in formulations that bolster skin’s natural function. The entire product line—facial care, body soaps, refillable & compostable deodorants, plastic-free solid shampoo & conditioner, body oils, skin cream, reef-safe sunscreen, and insect repellent—is Leaping Bunny Certified, palm-oil free, and designed to minimize plastic consumption. 

Meow Meow Tweet offers a Bulk Refill Program that keeps product packaging out of the waste stream indefinitely, and offers TerraCycling on packaging elements that fall outside of commercially available recycling. 

Meow Meow Tweet believes that quality, harm-free personal care should be available to all people and offers their products at an accessible price point. They donate monthly to causes in the categories of Social Justice, Earth & Nature, and Animal Justice.
