Merchants currently operates 17 premier restaurants in NYC including Philippe Chow, off Madison Avenue, as well as the Philippe Chow at the Dream Hotel, Treadwell Park in multiple locations, Ophelia on top of the Beekman UN Hotel, Industry Kitchen, Merchants Cigar Bar, Merchants NY, and Mezze On The River. Merchants has opened a Philippe Chow restaurant on the Wharf in Washington DC, and is currently developing additional Philippe Chow restaurants in Nashville and Miami, both opening in 2024, in addition to a licensee location in Kuwait City. Merchants’ principals Abraham Merchant and Richard Cohn have been industry leaders in the real estate and hospitality world for over 30 years and have been honored by multiple charities across the country. Merchants currently employs over 800 people and is headquartered on Wall Street at the center of the financial district in NYC.
