MicroWorks, Inc. is a microbiological consulting and training firm that was formed on the basis that pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers do not always have the proper amount of personnel to do all of the studies that need to be done within the facility. MicroWorks, Inc. has found a market by being a hands-on consulting firm.  We assist companies with completion of their studies.  We don’t just give advice. MicroWorks personnel actually perform projects for companies, across many disciplines within the pharmaceutical industry.  We design environmental monitoring plans, analyze data, assist with investigations and troubleshooting, validate Microbiology equipment, develop methods and much more.

 Over the past several years, MicroWorks has developed a series of training courses and has taught them throughout the country. We are now offering hands-on training courses in Environmental Monitoring, Validation of Microbiology Methods, Aseptic Training, Microbial Limits, Bioburden and Sterility Testing, Basic Microbiology and Rapid Microbiological Methods .

We are considered experts in the field of Environmental Monitoring. We have spent several years developing an ideal method for swab sampling. We have now taken that method and improved upon it by packaging the system in a gamma irradiated package to be used in the clean room or isolator. This new product is now ready for the market place. We have validated the swab system and are in the process of publishing the findings in the PDA Journal of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology.
