Moyer Jewelers is a small, family-operated jewelry retailer based in State College, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1949 by B.P. Moyer, who had worked as a watchmaker for Hamilton Watch Company in Lancaster before moving to State College to open the store with his wife Jane. After B.P.'s sudden passing, Gary helped continue the business with his mother, and under their leadership the store moved to its current location at the corner of College and Allen. The business is now in its third generation, with Gary retired and Lori and her husband Chris providing leadership. The company remains a local, regional retail jeweler serving customers from its State College base.
