In 1994 Barry Holbrook established Midtown Electric in the heart of Midtown in Memphis. With three generations of electrical contracting experience beginning with his grandfather, Mose Holbrook and his father Charles W. Holbrook, who were master electricians that provided electrical service for the Memphis and surrounding area for many years. Midtown Electric over the years has provided quality electrical construction at competitive rates. We have completed many industrial and commercial projects on time, within budget, with complete customer satisfaction. After hearing customers express a need for a complete one call service provider for construction, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing, Midtown Electric decided to answer such request by reforming to become MTE. Beginning in 2005 MTE began providing construction service in addition to electrical construction. Beginning in 2010 MTE expanded to add mechanical contracting and by the end of 2010 completed its formation by adding plumbing services. We are now capable of responding to all of our customers needs with the same quality, promptness, and dependability that Midtown Electric was founded on.
