National Nurses United, with more than 225,000 members nationwide, is the largest union and professional organization of direct-care registered nurses in the United States and a strong, progressive voice for nurses, patients, and health care workers around the world. NNU's executive director is Puneet Maharaj and its presidents are RNs Jamie Brown, Nancy Hagans, Cathy Kennedy, and Mary Turner.
