Nichols College in Dudley, Mass., is a college of choice for business and leadership education as a result of its distinctive, career-focused, and leadership-based approaches to learning. Founded in 1815, Nichols serves students primarily interested in a comprehensive business education that includes a strong liberal arts foundation curriculum. Within a supportive community of faculty and staff, Nichols College transforms today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders. Our faculty -- many of whom are former business leaders, executives, and owners -- bring unique perspectives to the classroom and workforce to develop teaching methods that promote a meaningful educational experience. Believing that leadership is vital and should be discovered, cultivated, and celebrated, Nichols College encourages the leadership potential in all its students through experiential learning, hands-on opportunities, and individualized mentoring. Nichols College's signature Professional Development Seminar (PDS) Program is a four-year series of one-credit academic courses. Coursework logically builds on the prior year, with first-year students making the transition to college and discovering what it takes to succeed; second-year students learning how to represent themselves and develop their professional brand; third-year students refining their interviewing and networking skills; and fourth-year students launching successful careers. Nichols boasts more than 14,000 alumni and countless success stories of our graduates putting their Nichols degrees to productive use. In general, more than 90 percent of our graduates secure jobs in their fields within six months of graduation. Employers report that our students are well prepared for the professional workforce and effectively present themselves. Nichols College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
