Nordkraft AS is a Norwegian electric power generation company focused on the development, production, and distribution of renewable energy, with operations dating back to 1910. Its ownership is principally municipal, centered along the Harstad–Narvik corridor and including Hadsel and Andøy. The group’s headquarters are in Narvik, while its network operations are based in Harstad, and it maintains regional offices in Grovfjord, Ballangen, Stokmarknes, and Andøy. It produces about 2.4 terawatt-hours of electricity annually, with roughly 1.1 TWh generated by the company itself, and serves around 54,000 network customers. The organization pursues regional development through business development and innovation projects intended to create activity and benefits for the wider region. In February 2026, Nordkraft announced a collaboration with Hansen Technologies to strengthen automated trading across Nordic power markets.
