Nucor Steel Gallatin’s Compact Strip Production operations began in 1995. We extended our business into the galvanizing market in 2019 by installing our Pickle Galvanizing Line at our facility on the Ohio River banks in Gallatin, KY. And now, after recent expansions, our sheet mill has the capacity to produce more than 3 million tons of hot band coils annually, which go into making many of the items in our homes, autos, factories and farms. We're proud to be part of the Nucor family and our commitment to sustainability and excellence by recycling more than a million pounds of scrap steel each year.
 
But it's not just about steel for us. It's about people. Our family of more than 700 full-time teammates is a force to be reckoned with — dedicated, talented and passionate about what we do.
