One Hat One Hand is a San Francisco design and fabrication company that creates public art, architectural placemaking, workplace environments, museum and gallery work, experiential installations, and custom-built features for brands, cities, and institutions.

We partner with architects, developers, artists, agencies, builders, and visionary clients to bring complex ideas into the physical world. Our work spans public art, lighted and suspended art, architectural metalwork, millwork, event fabrication, product prototyping, technological implementation, and specialty installations that shape how people move through and remember a place.

Founded in August 2008 by Marcus Guillard and Chrisray Collins, One Hat One Hand has built a reputation for solving ambitious design challenges with craft, precision, and imagination. Our 50,000 square foot fabrication campus includes nine studio departments that support projects from concept development and engineering through fabrication, finishing, electronics, and installation.

Notable projects include the original Outside Lands windmills and the new state-of-the-art replacement windmill for Outside Lands, along with a wide range of custom workplace features, brand activations, museum environments, and large-scale public-facing installations across the Bay Area and beyond.

In September 2025, One Hat One Hand expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of DEKA Fabrication, strengthening our ability to deliver exceptional custom fabrication at even greater scale.
