One Hat One Hand is a design and fabrication studio based in San Francisco that creates public art, architectural placemaking, workplace environments, and experiential installations for brands, cities, and institutions. It collaborates with architects, developers, artists, agencies, builders, and visionary clients to translate ambitious concepts into physical works. The studio's portfolio includes public art, lighted and suspended works, architectural metalwork, millwork, event fabrication, product prototyping, and technology-enabled installations that shape how people move through and remember spaces. Founded in 2008 by Marcus Guillard and Chrisray Collins, the company operates a 50,000-square-foot fabrication campus with multiple studio departments that cover development through installation. In September 2025 it expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of DEKA Fabrication, increasing its capacity for large-scale custom fabrication. Notable projects include the original Outside Lands windmills and the replacement windmill, along with a broad range of workplace features, brand activations, museum environments, and large-scale public installations across the Bay Area and beyond.
