At Ourso Designs, we have been offering a client-focused design approach for more than twelve years. From the beginning, we view our clients as partners. After discussing and analyzing our client's ideas and goals, we explore those ideas, and then present a range of options to fulfill client-inspired design solutions. After our clients choose the design best suited for them, we develop the design further by tweaking it to perfection.

From our client's visions come completed projects that are continually recognized as some of the finest examples of Baton Rouge residential kitchen and bath design. Our clients’ projects come to life under the direction of our design and space planning professionals.

Richard Ourso, a pioneering entrepreneur, founded Ourso Designs in 2000. Building on decades of skilled woodworking and successful craftsmanship, Richard’s budding business quickly grew. Richard holds the National Kitchen and Bath designation, Certified Kitchen Designer or CKD as well as certification in aging-in-place or CAPS.  He has been a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association for over 10 years and is an active member in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and our local group Capitol Region Builders Association (CRBA).
