Outdoors Incorporated is a specialty, outdoor retailer committed to outfitting, encouraging, and fostering human powered recreation growth.   Founded in 1974, Joe Royer and Lawrence Migliara combined their two paddling businesses, White Water Tennessee Supply and South Central Canoe Base, to form Outdoors, Inc. At the time, Royer and Migliara could not find an adequate, outdoor supply store within west Tennessee and, in turn, opened a retail store. Outdoors, Inc. operates 2 retail stores as well as 2 bike shops and an online store – www.outdoorsinc.com. Outdoors, Inc. offers high-quality camping, climbing, paddling, cycling, and snow sport products at competitive prices while also focusing on customer service. As a active member of the Memphis Community, Outdoors, Inc. partners with local organizations in order to continue its stewardship and advocacy of the outdoors. Annually, Outdoors, Inc. hosts the longest running Cyclocross Championships within the United States as well as Outdoors, Inc. Canoe and Kayak Race.
