THE HERITAGE OF A FAMILY COMPANY Pâtisseries Gourmandes is the story of a family business founded nearly 50 years ago in Brittany, in a Celtic region rich in culinary traditions. The delicious adventure began in 1968, with a quatre-quarts pound cake and a Madeleine. Pure Butter Biscuits soon came to widen the range of cakes and pastries, which in only a few decades has won over several generations of consumers. Pâtisseries Gourmandes owes this great success to its know-how, which comes from homemade tradition combined with innovative industrial production tools. Each of our products is made according to strict baking tradition, under the watchful eyes of our French bakers, who ensure the quality of our products. A FRENCH COMPANY Pâtisseries Gourmandes is a French company that today has 5 production sites, all located in western France. This region is legendary for its expertise in baking, even outside of France. It is the birthplace of iconic recipes such as the crepe, the Madeleine cake and the quatre-quarts pound cake, all made with the region’s star ingredient, butter, which is key to to delicious baked goods.
