PbX Corporation is a general contractor specializing in rehabilitation, protection and restoration of bridges and highway repair activities. Today’s expanding market has included the production and placement of Latex Modified Concrete Overlay.

PbX Corporation was formed in 1994 by partners of a civil engineering firm based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The company saw a need for performing lead based paint removal and painting services on bridges, tanks and other structures for both public and private facilities.

The current owners acquired PbX in 1997 at which time the services it provided changed to concentrate on general contracting. A transition was made to the current service area that includes concrete rehabilitation, bridge structure rehab. and related highway repair activities.

Today’s bridge services include latex modified concrete deck overlays, bridge component removal/replacement such as expansion joints, approach slabs, parapet/wing walls, structural steel, pre-stressed beams repair, concrete slope walls, piers, and abutments. Also PbX performs concrete restoration and protection activities through the use of pneumatically placed mortar, epoxy injection, polymer epoxy coatings and water repellants.

PbX client base which is every expanding consist mostly of state and local agencies such as Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Transportation Authority, Kansas DOT, Texas DOT, Tulsa County, City of Oklahoma City, Arkansas DOT, Tennessee DOT. Work has also been done with numerous general contractors and private facility owners.
