Responsive Law is a national nonprofit advocacy organization focused on improving access, accountability, and affordability in the civil justice system. It seeks to foster competition in the provision of legal services, expand self-help options for the system's customers, and improve legal literacy among those customers.

To support these aims, the organization conducts policy research and presents findings before state legislatures, bar associations, and supreme courts. Headquartered in Washington, DC, it operates as a small national nonprofit focused on civil justice public policy. Responsive Law also runs an internship program for undergraduates, law students, and graduate policy students, with applications accepted on a rolling basis.
