Boutique Engineering RIJA is a small, Bay Area engineering and consulting firm with 2-10 employees. This suggests high personalized service but potential capacity constraints; ideal for targeted, high-value engagements or partnership opportunities where they can collaborate to scale delivery.

Healthy Building Focus Their messaging centers on high performance and healthy buildings, signaling appetite for sustainability and indoor air quality improvements. Opportunities exist in green certification work, energy efficiency retrofits, and resilience planning for commercial/institutional clients.

Legacy and Heritage With roots dating to 1975, RIJA has entrenched Bay Area relationships and a stable reputation. Sales conversations can leverage trust, referrals, and long-standing client networks for repeat engineering and consulting projects.

Tech Stack Alignment RIJA uses standard cloud and collaboration tools (Google Workspace/Cloud) and modern security and development aids (Sentry, RequireJS, reCAPTCHA). This suggests they value reliable digital workflows and could benefit from project management, BIM/design collaboration, and cybersecurity enhancements to support expanded client work.

Medium Revenue Elevator Current revenue is estimated between one and ten million dollars, indicating a scalable but compact operation. Focused upsell opportunities include adjacent services (design, engineering consulting, permit planning, QA/QC) and strategic partnerships to win larger, multi-discipline projects with larger firms seeking niche partners.
