Our founder Rusty Fenton’s dream was to bring the taco stand experience to local communities and to become the neighborhood taco stand. We now have over 30 locations in 12 states and are actively looking for qualified franchisees. After many travels and food experiences, Rusty’s dream became a reality when Rusty and his wife Denise opened the first Rusty Taco in a converted gas station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, TX in 2010. But Rusty Taco is more than just a place for street tacos. Rusty also believed in serving the community and creating a place where people from all walks of life can come together and feel welcome. 

We are passionate about what we do and keep our menu fresh and simple. Delicious tacos crafted by hand with recipes created by our founder, who famously said: “Tacos are the Most Important Meal of the Day®”!

The original Rusty Taco is still there, so we hope you will stop by or check out one of our other many locations. Grab a seat, order some tacos, and kick back with one of our not so famous "Rusty Margarita’s, always made with fresh lime juice!"
