At a time when many manufacturers viewed sustainability as a fad, Nancy saw an opportunity to help Fortune 500 companies advance their efforts to improve their environmental impact through the introduction of more sustainable paper and packaging raw materials. After much success in supplying raw materials such as paperboard, kraft and specialty papers, Scout expanded its product offering to also include finished products. Those categories today are paper bags, folding cartons, copy paper, and envelopes. Scout distributes all products coast-to-coast. We are a disruptor introducing Fortune 200 CPGS and Retailers to innovative environmentally superior raw materials and finished products that they would not typically have access to through their traditional supply chain. We bring products with a reduced environmental footprint allowing our customers to eliminate unnecessary packaging, reduce carbon emissions and lower energy and water consumption used in the manufacturing process, while advancing their supplier diversity efforts at a lower cost. Serving as an innovator in fiber-based packaging product categories, our progressive manufacturing supply chain allows us to have a key differentiator in the saturated segment of integrated suppliers.
