SnackCo of America is a family owned business with its operations in Clearfield, UT. We are primarily known for our batch-cooked kettle style potato chips that are produced in a more traditional way than the conventional potato chips. Other products we produce are fried potato chips, tortilla chips, extruded pellet products, direct extruded products, kettle corn, and air-popped popcorn. The business started more than 20 years ago and is now one of Europe’s larger snack product suppliers with factories around the world. We have recently entered the North American market and are confident that we will be able to proudly supply our customers.

 

SnackCo is a member of the Stockholm-SLC group. This is a group of snack-food companies, which is owned by Michael and Signhild Arnegard Hansen of Stockholm, Sweden.

 

The group comprises the following four companies:

Les Artisans du Goût Sprl (Belgium)

Svenska LantChips AB (Sweden)

Hokuo Foods (Japan)

SnackCo (Utah, USA)

 

All of our plants are equipped with some of the most efficient and automated equipment used in modern snack production, in order offer the most competitive price available.

 

The plants are also certified by the highest international food production QA-system, the “A”-level of BRC (British Retail Consortium, corresponding to the American AIB).

 

The new plant has a current production capacity at 5,400 LBS per hour, and has room to grow. 

 

The owners are still the day-to-day managers, and are easily reached for urgent matters.
