Launched in 2008 by Founder and CEO Ron McIntyre, Square Feathers was born from his inspirations stemmed from the vibrancy and diversity of life witnessed and experienced through his global travels. With no budget for market research, he launched Square Feathers by creating products in the garage of his residence in Austin, Texas. He started by selling pillows out of his car driving door to door with his wife, Rebecca McIntyre and their dog. 

A critical move to his success to date, was starting small and strategic. Doing pillows so well and so unique grew his reputation as someone who created extraordinary products, with fresh designs out a few times a year. From there he realized a natural tie in to pillows would be something to put them on! So, he introduced chairs, benches, stools, and ottomans. 

Next, Square Feathers added sofas to their product mix. Most recently, they have added tables including side tables, end tables, cased goods, and night stands; all of which are 100% custom Ron’s designs. The demand for additional products from Square Feathers continues to increase in line with Ron’s personal as well as the Company’s personal brand awareness coupled with a solid reputation for production of well-made, extraordinary products.
