Superior Trailer is a family-owned business that has been manufacturing in southern California since 1935. The company that began in downtown Los Angeles, right off of Olympic Avenue, moved to its current location in Fontana, California in 1983. Superior Trailer manufactures lightweight efficient dump trucks and trailers for hauling aggregates, asphalt, mulch’s, and soils. Superior Trailer Works typically builds units that are 10% lower in weight than our competitors by utilizing advanced innovative design and steels. Superior Trailer has been recognized as a leader in the industry We received international recognition in 2003 with the “Swedish Steel Award”. It was an honor to receive this award in the Blue Hall in Stockholm Sweden, the same hall used for presentation of the Nobel Prize.Through innovative designs and application of advanced high strength steels, we provide better wear resistance, lower weights, higher payloads and longer useful life which results in greater economy for both the end user and the manufacturer. For the end user, this means that Superior Trailer products can do the job up to 10% more efficiently. Without government regulation, we have created an innovative product resulting in a reduction by 10% in trucks on the road, and a 10% reduction in fuel burned. We are "going green", and becoming more profitable through our efficiency and thoughtful design.
