We offer the very best in self-serve Frozen Yogurt, Sorbetto and Gelato along with a variety of other treats!  Our business is truly an American Dream story that has strengthened a family in spite of personal tragedy.

The Suzy's Swirl concept  is actually 25 years in the making and began as an idea between Kathleen Wood and the late Joe Tierno who unexpected passed away on October 1, 2011 after the two had finally agreed to make their dream of partnering to own the next great restaurant chain come true.  It was not easy, but Kathleen and her sister, Sue, were able to fight through the tragic loss and find closure in finishing what had been started.  It truly has become a family affair as Sue's daughter, Jen, has become more and more involved. 

We are proud to call Gurnee the home of our first location! We have since expanded and moved to Lake Bluff and are looking forward to Swirling Goodness for several more communities throughout the Northern Illinois Area over the next five years with a business model that helps others make the American Dream more accessible and affordable.
