• Developed material characterization methods and discovery workflows, including concept development, POC, mechanical design, system integration (hardware and software), DOE, validation, lab execution, scientific evaluation and delivery of automation platforms for world-wide multi-national clients. Developed a small-scale, multi-channel rheometer and Time-Temperature-Superposition algorithm for one of the largest petrochemical company. Developed a miniaturized, automated coating station with ingredient assemble capability which can mix highly viscous reactive ingredients of automobile adhesives for one of the world-wide chemical company. Introduced new test/evaluation methods to characterize wipes with formulations for a consumer product company, and discovered correlations between consumer’s perception and the lab-scale performance test results. Developed a characterization method and a miniaturized system to evaluate anti-adherence performance of skin surface against blood. Discovered relationships between anti-adherence performance and surface chemistry. Developed a method and an all-in-one platform to construct and identify ternary (O/W/S) phase diagrams of emulsion formulation for a cosmetic company. • Project coordination, project lead of interdisciplinary project team, and client interface.
