Tarsier Studios is a mid-sized independent game development studio based in Malmö, Skåne, Sweden. It has collaborated with major publishers, including Sony and Media Molecule, on titles such as LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and Tearaway Unfolded before moving to full independence in recent years. The studio has released Little Nightmares and Statik in 2017, followed by Little Nightmares II in 2021, demonstrating its ability to produce original games across different styles. 

In the computer games industry, Tarsier continues to develop original IP alongside collaborations, delivering a range of narrative-driven experiences. In 2026, it announced a main expansion for Reanimal titled The Expanded World, to be released in three chapters in collaboration with THQ Nordic.
