TERPconsulting is a fire protection engineering and code consulting firm with offices in Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, and Phoenix. 

Established in 2010, we’re a medium-sized firm with large firm project experience and a small-firm feel. We excel at coordinating fire protection, life safety, and accessibility features into the overall building design—accounting for building aesthetics, function, and cost while balancing building and fire code requirements.

At TERPconsulting, our dedicated team of professional engineers leverages cutting-edge technologies and code expertise to provide building owners and architects in implementing the most optimal solutions. We collaborate closely with Authority Jurisdictions (AHJs) to ensure our clients’ interests are diligently represented, balancing building design with fire code requirements.

Our team comprises licensed experts, primarily holding degrees in fire protection engineering, equipped with a well-rounded understanding of fire, life safety, and accessibility requirements. Their proficiency stems from years of hands-on experience within the industry, coupled with their contributions to technical committees at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the International Code Council (ICC).

TERPconsulting’s professional engineers are licensed in 46 states, and the District of Columbia, while our remaining technical experts are certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Fire Alarm Systems, Water-Based Systems Layout, and Special Hazards Systems to varying levels. 

We have extensive experience in code consulting for large-scale construction projects throughout the world.
