The Texas International Produce Association (TIPA) is a trade organization founded in 1942 to represent shippers of Texas-grown fruits and vegetables and to foster collaboration within the Texas produce industry. In 1996, its scope broadened to include the importation and marketing of foreign-grown produce, leading to the creation of two divisions: the Shipper Division and the International Trade Division. Its membership comprises growers, domestic shippers, import shippers, specialty shippers, distributors, and service providers, forming a broad network across the supply chain. Based in Mission, Texas, the association operates with a professional staff and a board elected from various regions and membership categories to set priorities and goals. It supports industry coordination through committees, councils, and coalitions, and organizes events such as the Viva Fresh Expo. In early 2026, the association announced Hunter Pinke as the keynote speaker for that year’s Viva Fresh Expo.
