The Centre's purpose is to advance the public good by inspiring excellence among leaders at all levels in community-supporting organizations, such as public sector, non-profit, educational, and health-oriented agencies. The Centre helps grow our clients' leadership capacities through our flagship academies, customized learning and development programs, personalized coaching, thought partnership, and organizational development services.

Since 1993, The Centre has delivered thousands of hours of training, coaching, and consulting services to hundreds of public sector and community-oriented organizations throughout California.

The Centre is a self-funded Joint Powers Authority, which is a tax-exempt public entity, which was created by the City of San Diego and the San Diego County Water Authority. The Centre is governed by an independent Board of Directors.
