The Miami Hurricane is the student newspaper of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla. Founded in 1929, the publication is produced by undergraduate students at UM and covers campus, local, and national news. We post online daily and publish in print every other Wednesday during the regular academic year.

This publication does not necessarily represent the views and opinions of advertisers or the university’s trustees, faculty or administration.
