In 1841, Thomas Cook became a pioneer of the travel industry. He recognised that by buying a full carriage of seats from a train operator he could both fill the carriage and save the passengers money on their ticket. From those humble beginnings, an entire global industry of package travel was born. He went on to take ordinary people around the world to explore new places and experience different cultures.

Now, nearly 200 years later, Thomas Cook continues that tradition by unlocking travel experiences for people - this time using technology and our decades of experience to help customers find and enjoy dream holidays.

Part of the eSky Group since September 2024, this new Thomas Cook launched in September 2020 started by a group of former employees from the original business who wanted to build a new travel agency, suited to the modern holidaymaker and with limitless possibilities for exploration.

The eSky Group was founded 20 years ago, based in Poland, the founder-led, private-equity-backed business now operates in 50 countries around the world selling flights and holidays to more than 3.3 million customers each year.

Together, the two companies plan to build one of the largest travel companies in Europe, helping more people enjoy more time away with the people that matter.
