Valley Malt and sister company Ground Up are maltsters and millers of Northeast-grown grains. Based in a newly-renovated, hydroelectric-powered mill in Holyoke, MA, we are passionate about developing and supporting a local grain economy. We work with breeders, growers, brewers, distillers, bakers, and other food makers to find the best varieties of wheat, rye, and barley for our products. In addition to supporting family farms in our region, these grains serve as a cover crop, making our soil and water healthy and supporting a resilient local food system.
