The Veteran population in the Brevard County metropolitan area is also expected to increase in coming years for a number of reasons.  The Viera VA Out-Patient Clinic is the only Veteran Clinic located in Brevard County, consequently the clinic attracts veterans looking for new living opportunities and VA medical and healthcare services. Currently the Viera Out-Patient Clinic sees over 1,000 veterans a day. As Veterans return from Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom the need for VA services will untouchably increase.
