VIRginia International Raceway is one of America’s premier road courses. VIR offers professional and amateur racing for modern and vintage classes while providing contemporary resort amenities. It is also a prominent test facility for the automotive industry.

Located 200 miles from 20 million people, VIR has the distinction of being named one of the top six courses in North America and the most complete American version of the Nurburgring (Car & Driver). Southern roots and hospitality make it one of the friendliest.

Opened in 1957, VIR hosts ALMS, SCCA and other professional and amateur car and motorcycle events, driving schools, club days, private testing as well as group activities. Racing enthusiasts from around the world make the trip to VIR each year to be part of this historic track.  

Recognized as the country club of racing, VIR offers complimentary amenities such as corporate retreats, group activities, conference space, lodging, and dining. Also available is an exclusive driver’s club, karting, off-road racing, skeet shooting, skidpad, and other activities. On-site parcels are available for sale/lease to motorsports industry tenants.
