My approach to graphic design: I listen carefully to my client's vision, goals and mission for their company, and work closely with them to find the best possible visual presentation to meet that vision. Projects include, Logo and identity systems, illustration, brochures, signage, conference packages, annual reports, and web design. Extensive knowledge and background in all forms of print media. My approach to Public Sculpture: I shape and fabricate metal into open, energetic human form, representing movement and the expression of life. My intention is to capture the essence of the creative spirit, in a powerful and joyful way. The flow of this life energy is depicted with curving shapes of steel plate, welded at intersecting planes. The flowing lines allow the forms to feel as if they are moving freely through space, unbounded, while also balanced, grounded and strong. Painted with bright colors, I strive to engage community members, inspiring them to connect with each other and also with their own sense of joy and wonder.
