Leland Watson founded the firm in 1982 and has provided legal advice and advocacy in the area of business law for over twenty years. Mr. Watson's practice has been oriented to commercial and business clients facing complex matters in the financing and start up of new businesses, as well as the resolution of disputes confronting small businesses and closely held companies. Additionally, Mr. Watson represents clients whose business affairs are affected by divorce. He has handled numerous appeals relating to complicated financial and business issues raised by the dissolution of a marriage. Mr. Watson is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of Minnesota, U.S. District Court, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1967.
