Zandbergen World’s Finest Meat is a wholesale importer and exporter operating in the international protein supply chain, with its head office in Zoeterwoude, in South Holland. The company also produces value-added products, including portioned steaks, hamburgers and a broad range of sliced and cubed products. Based in Zoeterwoude, the business is a mid-sized operator within the wholesale import and export sector. It operates the Frigomundo cold-storage facility, opened in 2008, and undertook a major sustainability project that installed the largest cold-store solar panel system in the Netherlands in 2017. To address growing demand for plant-based options in Europe, it opened a production facility in collaboration with Beyond Meat to manufacture innovative plant-based products at The New Plant.
