AH Wines (AHW) is a multi-faceted California wine company with Vineyard operations, a Winery, a Négociant business, Wholesale Distribution (in California), an Import operation, and Direct to Consumer sales. Wine production this year will exceed 1 million bottles, with distribution throughout the US, Europe, Canada, Asia, and Latin American. The company is based in Lodi, California – the heart of California’s most important wine production region. Additionally, company expansion into the Coastal appellations (Paso Robles, Monterey, and Mendocino) and the Premium appellations of Napa and Sonoma have been growing rapidly. AH Wines produces wines in many price and quality ranges, based on U.S. Retail Price Points, the Company’s wines are focused in the US$10, US$15, and US$20 retail price levels. A small production of Estate Grown wine is offered in the US$75/bottle range. AHW has been successful in producing private labels and control brands for some of the largest and most important retail groups in the U.S., such as HEB, A&P, Kroger and others. Other important clients include: Direct Wine (UK) and Lionstone (Wall Street Journal and Zagat wine clubs). Our Founder, Jeff Hansen, a 5th generation Californian has dedicated more than 25 years to the national and international growth of California’s wine business. Hansen has developed distribution for California wines throughout the U.S. and in over 40 countries worldwide. He has been a pioneer in the development of California wines outside the U.S., and in his career has put over 10 million cases of wine into distribution. AHW is specifically focused on building brands with key partners throughout the world either through control brands, private labels, or under the family brand: Hansen-Garbarino Vineyards.
