A 150-year-old agricultural company, AOI provides responsibly-produced, independently verified, sustainable and traceable agricultural products, ingredients and services to businesses and customers. Headquartered in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina, we work with 300,000 farmers across five continents to help them produce a variety of sustainable, compliant crops. 

Historically, AOI’s core business has been tobacco leaf, which we contracted with and then purchased from growers, processed in our facilities and then sold to the world’s multinational tobacco product manufacturers. However, recognizing the changing marketplace, we recently embarked on a transformation initiative, “One Tomorrow,” aimed at reshaping our brand and leveraging strengths in agronomy and technology to drive our business forward into the future. 

Through the “One Tomorrow” initiative, we are diversifying our business and making investments in high growth areas, including legal cannabis, industrial hemp and e-liquids. Our new business lines focus on products that are value-added or require some degree of processing, which build on our core competencies and fit into our value-added business model. The actions we are taking reflect our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality products while meeting evolving customers and consumer preferences.
